Feeding Guide

Daily Feeding Guide:

Important Feeding Information

  • These amounts are a starting point only. Your cat may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian.
  • With your veterinarian's approval, mix increasing amounts of your cat's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. Prescription Diet formulas are available in a wide variety of dry foods and treats for your cat's unique needs, and canned foods with delicious flavors your cat will love. Supplementation with other foods or treats is unnecessary and may decrease the effectiveness of the food. When using with canned food and treats, decrease the amount of dry food to avoid overfeeding.
  • Keep fresh water available at all times!
  • For best results, have your veterinarian monitor your cat's condition.
  • To prevent suffocation, keep this package out of the reach of pets and children.

Thi product helped my cat's digestion problem My vet recommended the D/D venison/green pea dry for my cat. He had been a feral that was rescued so his diet wasn't good for him. He has been so much better and an extra perk was his coat is luxuriant and full. September 26, 2013
This product has worked for my cat's medical condition. This is the only product that has worked successfully for my cat's medical condition. September 5, 2013
Only thing my baby can eat I had trouble for yrs my cat would hold food down . The vet said to try this and she's been eating it for about 2 yrs now. She still has some skin issues but I guess it's just her. She loves the taste and I feel good about feeding it to her. It's pricey but she is worth it. May 29, 2013
Excellent Food for Cats w/Food Allergies My cat Augustus whom has very bad food allergies, especially chicken, is doing great on this food. His coat is beautiful, he is his normal self, and he loves the flavor. I also feed my other cat Temperance this food because it is a complete balance and once she smelled it, she didn't want her other food. One Precaution: Watch your cat's weight. Very Fattening. Recommended by our Vet Our cat was having problems with digestion. Our vet recommended this product. Our cat eats everything in her bowl and this product has improved her well-being. We have even begun feeding her the wet product to vary her diet. March 7, 2014
This has been wonderful for skin issues! My cat loves his d/d food and can't wait for meal time! February 28, 2014
Cat looks incredible I thought I had my cats on a quality food. My vet recommending switching to prescription diet for an allergy issue. After about 3 months on their new diet. There is a stunning difference in their appearance. Their coats are full and glossy. My older cat looks years younger. It has been an absolute transformation. I recommend this food to every pet owner I know. The attached picture is of my 15 1/2 year old cat, Puss. She has never looked better. I think of this food as an investment in her long term health. Wonderful For Cats with Food Allergies I started my cat who has very bad food allergies (skin). The Dr. started him out on the Z/D but it gave me very bad diarrhea. The D/D cleared the diarrhea up in 2 days. His allergy seemed to have cleared up quickly also. One problem, it has made him and my other cat constipated. January 13, 2014
